Bai Yueyu 's works express and build inner space through the combination of traditional natural material lacquer and mixed materials.
She studied lacquer art and painting for undergraduate and graduate at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, where she is now pursuing a PhD in the theoretical and practical research of Chinese Art and Mixed Material Art in the Painting Department.
Her works have been exhibited in galleries, museums and finalist in the five-yearly National Art Exhibition and collected by the National Art Museum of China.
